mid cabin - rear most exhaust hose size

Post by BobCT »

I can't quite get the size measured w/o removing the hose. It looks like 5.5". This is the last piece of hose that connects the back of the muffler to the hull. It's about 8" long.

Anyone know for sure?

I am not sure but was thinking 5", when I had my mufflers out I am pretty sure they were the same size on both ends.

Bob I'm sorry. we left the shop at 430am this morning for an out of town job. I put a reminder in my phone so I wouldn't forget but forgot to turn the ringer on to hear it. I won't be back to Friday. sorry

Todd no worries. I was trying to eyeball it with a tape measure. I'll bring a pair of calipers and measure it that way. It probably is 5".

I'm trying to avoid taking the old hose until I have the new stuff on hand.

Remember Highe School Geometry, measure around the round object and divide by PI or 3.1416 will give you diameter because the diameter of any circle is 3.1416 of the circumference. :D
