Twin diesel f-32

Post by summer storm »

I found this diesel 32 and might go take a look at it but I'm not sure if it would be able to get out of its own way. What kind of speed would you get out of twin 90 hp engines?

If it gets enough power to get on top ( plane ) 14 knots wide open . Not sure what speed a F32 will get on plane . If you would be happy running at 7-8 knots the boat would be great and a fuel sipper . ( 2.5 GPH total burn @ 7.5 knots)

i would depend on how fast you want to go, I wish I had found this boat prior to mine, twin 80's 10 knts, at 2-3 gallons an hour......!!!!!

if you're a 100 mile bank fisherman, this would suck, if your're a cocktail cruiser with the occasional island run....perfect boat, other than being 32 feet

i will say this, there is plenty of room in the engine area to work in. she does not have the 'wing' tanks. do you think they were removed during the repower? nice boat over all though.

I called, the broker states that the diesels were put in new and she will cruise at 7.5 knots and max out at 10 knots. 2-3 gallon fuel burn in that range.

Scott, I think you are in the same range for fuel burn but you can still produce 13-14 knots. is that true?
