1976 F 25 hand rail bolts

I bought the boat in boxs and its almost ready . Prob is i dont no what screws he took out . any help would be great. thanks

should be stainless phillips screws there, thats what was on my F-25. they are about 3/4 inch long

Well this afternoon I took the headliner down and look like they have those twist nuts on some mounts bur not the rears , sorry about the lack of info , i was wondering if they were all wood type screws , or nut ,and bolt type thanks for the info .Im trying to get a pic of my new find up im sure the wife will fig it out .

different area than I was thinking. I would just replace them and the small wooden blocks with new gear....Not something you want to have to go back to any time soon

If you are talking about the hand rail stanchion bases on the deck, you should through-bolt them even if they aren't already. You should use a backer plate underneath to spread the load, and don't forget to caulk. If you are going through a deck core, you should dig out a bit of core all around each hole and fill with epoxy. This ensures the deck won't collapse when you tighten the fasteners, and seals the core to ensure any leaks will not migrate to the surrounding core.

+1 on Big D's advice, and to take it a step farther over drill the hole, tape the under side and fill with epoxy and then drill through the epoxy with the right size hole. then you're for sure spreading the load and sealing the core.
