Looking at 12m Trojan Convertibles

Post by Noesfacil »

Hi,
I am looking for a 12m convertible and until now I have been looking at Hatts and came across Trojans. They look like roomy boats and mount Detroits 6-71s which is my choice for where I am going to take it. Can anybody give me info on this boat, strengths and weaknesses. I will be using the boat as a liveaboard for a couple, coastla cruising and Caribbean island hopping, I've seen a late 80s listed at $90k on yachtworld. What's the cruising speed and burn rate for this boat. Many thanks in advance for any advice.

TIA

Kerry

I know its not the 12 meter convertible, but if you check out the link below, David Pascoe a marine surveyor did a review of the 14 meter and also I believe the 10.8? Has some pretty good information about what to look out for. good luck,
Matt
