Last night, at the club where I am, along with RooferDave, had one of our members lose their boat to fire.
The owners were liveaboards, and this was to be their second winter on the water.
Less than a week before Christmas, this is just cruel. Fortunately, there were no injuries, some heat damage was done to a second liveaboard docked next to this boat.
Took these pics today:

Too early to say, and we do not wish to speculate at this time. I will let you all know as soon as we have more details. The owner is also the Vice Commodore of the club. He had spent thousands of dollars this summer upgrading, new wall coverings, ceiling, new Bimini windows, etc... every day he was doing something to make her better.
Chris Craft, and the length, was I believe a 42 footer? Dave may be able to elaborate if he comes on here.
Ironically, the boat was named "Final Purchase"

This was not set by the owner, that much I am sure of, the love, pride and work that went into this boat precludes that
That much I am 100% positive of
