F32 Transom Width?

I am just sitting on the other side of the world from my boat at the moment and dreaming of projects when I get home. Just wondering if anyone off hand can tell me the approximate transom width of the F32?

I will try and get it for you . I have to measure mine and I believe there are 2 F at the marina so I will measure one of them .

This might be silly to mention, but I will anyhow. The width from chine to chine is less than the width under the rubrail. Off the top of my head I can't remember the difference, but its enough that if you were making plans from afar or constructing something from afar you would want to make sure you knew what that difference is. Also knowing the height from the rubrail to the chine and from there to the bottom of the Vee would be helpful. You could then do a small drawing with fairly accurate representations of the dimensions of the transom on your F-32.

I am sitting in a war zone in the butt hole of Africa at the moment and just dreaming about my boat. I want to get a dinghy for spring and don't know if if a 9ft dingy would hang out past the sides of the transom.

BTW, Happy New Year to all my fellow Trojan boaters. I hope you have calm waters and sunny skies in 2013.

Its a 13 foot beam. You will have no trouble.

That 13' is about 1/3 of the way back from the bow and it narrows from there to the transom. Having said that, the transom is at least 10' wide so a 9' should be fine, depending on whether you want to keep an outboard hanging on it as well. I carry my old 8'4" Achilles and it fits well within the transom width.

I think its 11'9" at the transom rubrail. Can't totally remember if thats the F-32 or not that I am thinking of though.

Measurement on the F32 at the stern above the rub rail 10'5" not including the rub rail and just below the rail 10'2" ( outside the hull )
It maybe slightly less at swim platform but if so not much at all ( inch or 2 if anything). Below the rail the hull gets wider then tapers back in ( bulges out ). I did not trust the platform and the water is too cold .

BTW
The F36 is approx 10-11" wider at the stern , Until today I thought it was about the same , as they both have a 13' beam

Thanks guys. I was certain it was around 10ft at the transom. A 8-9ft dinghy should do the trick.

A 9' will not hang out. Here is what a 10' 6" and motor look like. With engine vertical it sticks out even less... I just docked port side only.

Ready, you have no problem running with your "dink" hanging our past your transom? I would love to have a 10 ft dinghy, but don't want to take the motor off every time!

No but I moved away from having a dinghy on the platform... the weight made the stern want to sit down and following seas....... you know the F32 story on that and we have some following seas on Georgian Bay so I moved to towing.
Put cleats, well reinforced on the top of transom for that and am happy with towing.
