Um... Yah. I have seen that before, and think I read he had just won the lottery and bought the boat. If nothing else, this is a lesson in KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE, KNOW HOW IT WILL BEHAVE, AND KNOW HOW TO HANDLE IT.

Doesn't matter if it is a speedboat of whatever size, or any Trojan model. This thing at 60+mph is no different than a Trojan in 6+ footers, or following seas. Same concept applies. Know what you have, how it is going to behave, and know how to handle it before you put other peoples lives at risk in any conditions.

This is a good video on how NOT to work a throttle. He's slamming the throttles from full to idle like he's working a hand pump. Another case of more money than brains.

wow FWIW worth 2 Memorial days ago, I witnessed on the OHIO river, a go fast called, I believe, an Outer limits, going they say over 100 mph (and I know everyone in the boat, so I believe this and the fact it goes over 100 mph). it made a slight jerk, and completely overturned and was upside down in the water. An ER doc was with me, we took him over to help (we were only at best 1/4 mile away). Everyone was ejected except one, and he was able to get out. the big news, no one was hurt!! Maybe a few bumps, no one went to the hospital, everyone was good. How lucky were they!!!! We towed the boat to the OHIO side, the EMT's came, checked and found everyone okay, and that the driver was not drinking and they left.
