Group Buy Project ?
I've NEVER seen a 10 meter without a bow pulpit. -The rails look odd.....
I want the rear inside cockpit step, the entire center windshield section and the complete swim platform.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1983-Tro ... v4exp=true
Says she went down in 6' of water - you can see the water line reached the handrail at the Doris Day steps. This means that part or all of the main electrical panel was submerged.
Based on repair costs vs. todays market value it is unlikely she will be saved.
We have a number of meter guys close by geographically.
Anybody in?

Now that's a shame. Can't believe nobody did anything with the engines when they pulled her out. I agree with the value but I think it's doable as long as you are able to do the work yourself and save labour. Still, a lot of work and may take a while to get her "turn key"
She was a 1969 36 ft wooden beauty with big blue 440s that we'll miss forever.

These things never pop up around me..., it would be fun to break it down with a bunch of guys. I think i can make out some of the mounting holes for the pulpit, maybe it was removed/damaged during the sinking? As I've come to find out, the challenge is figuring out what to do with the hull when you're all done stripping the parts.
They're probably not going to sell it, maybe you can work out a deal where you could pay them to dispose of it. I'm guessing its cheaper to do down there because of the number of boats.

um guys, i know the boat yard that this is stored at. it's roughly 7 miles from my marina. i'd love to take a look at her, but, i'm scared to death that the mold would kill me. either way, i'm very curious. and, i just happen to be on vacation until the 19th of april. any of you maryland trojan boat guys brave enough to go with me?

Looks like the pulpit was removed as you can see right where it was mounted and the line that is left from where the edge of it was located.RWS wrote:I've NEVER seen a 10 meter without a bow pulpit. -The rails look odd.....RWS
Looks like you can also see where the wires were cut that used to run up under it.

Re: Group Buy Project ?
the extended bow railing is also a dead giveaway. it did have a pulpit, but, it was removed. i wonder if it broke off when she sank or if it's somewhere in that mess of a cabin.
