High water coming.

Post by Diverted Income »

This was taken last Sunday. River level at 18-18.5 Prediction has it going to 30.6 now. I am told that at 24 the water goes over the causeway. Nice...

It's a floating dock. The water rises, so does the boat and the dock... :) :) :)

Yes. I see that.

I bet it doesn't rise 12 feet before it either breaks loose or submurges on its tethers though.

We are at North Shore Marina, later in the vid. Smaller dock in the center.

I will be heading there tomorrow. Sounds like the road to the Boat House is starting to peak thru. Driving in to the "high ground" is not a problem from what I have heard. Go figure, a flood in a drought!

Similar angle shot on 4-21-13. Notice the causeway behind is gone!

Just had dinner at the Boat House and had to use your dock to get there. How often do you make it down to your boat? We get to the boat house about once a week in the summer.

Was there last weekend and may make this weekend too. That place is great! Couple of us helped Rich build the dock maze last Saturday.
