The percieved "value" is in the name and that brand's reputation as a high end builder.

Sad to say but the Trojan "brand" name has a declining ongoing value as there is no longer a company to stand behind it, service it or to promote it.

Another orphaned brand.

This is a product that does not benefit from the "nostalgia" value that helps something like a Pontiac Firebird.

We're more like a Studebaker Avanti.

A product ahead of it's time, with advanced desgn features that became an orphaned brand.

No longer well recognized by the general public, but known by "enthusiasts"

RWS how very true and sad . I would never say bertram in ad to sell my boat ( and I have seen a F36 caller a trojan bertran by sellers ) but if I had internatal that was for sale that was a" Bertram/trojan" in name I would sure would as people pay for a name , but I would never say its a bertram hull . I seen may owners think its the same Hull . Guess they never seen a Betram out of the water. or been on a Bertram bottom fishing on a choppy day (rock and roll) .

Hello and welcome to the forum. You have one last F32's built. The center line berth was added towards the end of a very long production run that started in 1973.

I know my boat is a "Trojan-Bertram" in name only but the pic of the 11 meter floating around with the "snazzy " gold Bertram logo on the radar arch was pretty sharp! LOL :P

I like my Trojan but I would LOVE a Bertram.

To me Bertrams are like Rolls Royces!!

Guys, don't let the Bertram name get you down. It's not a Trojan but they make a decent boat too :)

DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE NOW EXISTS THAT NO HUMAN BEING WAS CAPABLE OF DESIGNING AND ENGINEERING BOATS AS GOOD AS TROJANS.

THE EMPIRICAL DATUM CONFIRMS THAT THE DESIGNS WERE HANDED DOWN FROM ALIEN BEINGS FROM A TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED CIVILIZATION.

ITS THE AMISH - INTERGALACTICAL CONNECTION.
