1972 F-36 Stanchion Repairs

Post by fdean396 »

I need to reset my midship stanchion mount plates on my 1972 F-36. What setting compound would be best to use? The fitting mounts sit on the wood trim cap that sits atop the gunnel. How are the stanchion bases attached and how can they be tightened? Are there plates with nuts inside the gunnel area or are the nuts set in the wood?

Feedback greatly appreciated!
