DOME LIGHT REPLACEMENT LENS

good morning all, aaron (f-32) in middle river here. if you are like me and want to retain that ''classic'' trojan dome light fixture i have found a solution to cracked and ancient lens covers. most trojans that were built in the early to late 1970's have that classic square dome light. my lens covers all but shattered due to age last week when i was doing some cleaning. i found a place here in the baltimore area that has lens covers that are an exact match for those square lights. the place is called custom coach company---it's an RV supply store. and yes, they say they get ''a lot of boat people'' in here because some things are a fraction of the cost of the standard marine supply store. anyway, the part number is (55-9207). it is called the classic interior dome light lens. they also have the exact square dome light if you are interested in replacing the entire unit. i paid 1.89 per lens at the store, and i picked up 15 of them. their web addy is http://www.customcoachonline.com they also have great prices on items for the fresh water system and heads. if you are unable to get to their site, email me and i will be glad to assist.

i have been doing some research on this since some have been unable to pull up the product from customcoachonline.com their website is set up so that when you click on ONLINE CATALOG in the drop down menu to the right for PRODUCT SEARCH drop down to product number. enter the following product numbers for replacement dome lenses.... both will fit like a glove for the classic trojan square dome lights.....
product codes are..... 559249 and 558966. if you are still unable to find them, just give them a call and tell them they are in the 2008 catalog they put out and are on page 296 under lighting. hopefully this will assist you better.

on my f32 1978 i found the exact light still made by the same company with the little brown trim sticker around the outside of the square light at my local camping world. the whole light was yellowed so just changing the lens would still have looked bad so i changed the whole thing, they are not listed on camping worlds website but they were on the shelf at my local store. as my originals they are still made by progessive dynamics, heres another vendor that sells them; http://www.rvpartscenter.com/ProductDet ... 48&CID=213
