Mansfield vacuum flush head removal
I am removing the 1978 vintage Mansfield head from my F32. I do not know if any of it works, it looks OK. If anyone wants the vacuum tank and/or the pump and is willing to pay for the shipping, it is yours. If no one wants it, it is going in the dumpster soon.

Don't need one but curious, why are you getting rid of it?

I want a larger holding tank and less complication in the head system. By getting rid of the vacuum flush, I can fit a 30 gallon tank in the area.

What are you replacing it with. Those old Mansfields are among the most reliable systems around even vs today's smaller units.

Re: Mansfield vacuum flush head removal
I am putting in a Raritan Marine Elegance with the smart controller. The old holding tank was 17 gallons and there was no way that was going to work out since we will be living aboard almost full time during the summers. 30 gallons will be somewhat marginal, but it is way better than 17. The head and tank are on order. I have the old tank, pump and vacuum tank out and just finished painting the area under the vee berths with white bilge coat. So far I have used about 2 gallons of white bilge coat painting under the vee berth area, the hanging lockers, the bilge in the galley, under the side decks in the salon and now I am painting the engine room. The engine room was a bear, very dirty and looks like it had never been cleaned. I have the starboard side done and I am waiting on another gallon of Extreme Simple Green so I can clean the port side of the engine room. It is so much better on the starboard side now, I love the white, it is so clean!!!

Please don't throw it away!!! Someone stole the pump out of our boat while in storage and I've been looking everywhere for a new one that isn't $600. I will happily pay for shipping and give you a couple hundred for the pump. Please let me know if it's still available.
