where is engine main harness plug in this pic and does alt. charge power go thru it to the batteries

Is that a plug I see right beside the starter?
She was a 1969 36 ft wooden beauty with big blue 440s that we'll miss forever.

1) Main Harness hesds into the black cover with the reset button on it.

2) Four Phillips head screws on the corners of each AC panel.

3) Almost the same as my manifold. I don't have the seperate generator portion.

Looking at your photos it looks like your fuel filters have the plastic bottoms. If that is true you might want to change them to the steel bottoms. The plastic ones really shouldn't be used inside a gas engine room.

Thanks for the replies---- ac panels are coming apart this wknd------I have checked the engine harness connections ,thanks for the location--- I believe the filter bases and bottoms are metal, but I will double check,they are definitely not see thru--- Mike

Summer storm--- Thanks for noticing that,I will be correcting that pronto--- just one more thing I have not had time to investigate, had a good look on wkend, they seem to have gone opaque--- does anyone have a part number for the metal bottoms that would fit a wix 33231 filter---- got new filters,still in boxes--- Mike

No problem. I really wish they would come up with a see through system for the inboard boats. It makes it so easy to see whats going on. Good luck with the boat :D
