It's been a while since posting on the forum, it has been a busy summer so far and not a lot of work or projects done on the Silverton, the good news is that Silver Lining is in pretty decent shape and we have been using the heck out of her without the guilty feeling of needing to complete the next project to make her look presentable.
I have been steadily checking off the little projects that have mostly just cleaned up messes created by PO's projects, you know, lots and lots of speaker wire going now where, leaking shower drains and non working pumps. (A/C and shower sump)
Varnish and just general housekeeping.
I arranged and had made Silverton Pennants for the Silverton Owners Club, much like this Trojan forum, however, I'll say that Trojan Owners are more proud of their boats...(as was I)
Hi Paul, Thanks for the note and we are enjoying the boat, a lot. we took a group of eight out this past Saturday night and had a great time and the boat didn't get close to feeling crowded.
Elegante,
We really like the 37C , she has turned out to be a great find and the layout totally works for us. We actually use the boat all the time and my wife loves it!
Glad to hear your enjoying the boat Scott. Love the pic's. Good luck with it all.

Spent some time taking care of some housekeeping chores today, The faucet in the galley has leaked at the handle since we bought the boat and I have put off replacing or repairing in anticipation of the corian countertops, I went ahead and changed out faucet today and then tacked the electronics on the bridge, they were installed in a hodge podge manner over the years and it has bugged me since we bought the boat, today I bought some starboard and removed all of the electronics cut out the starboard for the VHF, Stereo, GPS Sounder and Radar and re-installed in what I consider correct. I disposed of the old Echo-tech sounder, that sucker weighed a good 25-30 pounds and was the size of an old curtis-mathis television (does that date me or does it bring back memories of the old independent TV / electronics stores or both)
If you look in the background of the before and after pictures, you can also see the difference in the clear vinyl
and the Freedom flags flying from those peculiarly tall flag poles on the boat
