I would like to add something under the helm wheel as a foot rest. I could swear the Express models had a hinged SS/Teak step but in looking at some pics, the Electrical panel is there so it doesn't look like there's room. Maybe another Int'l model?
If I'm not losing my mind, can someone post a pic?
thanks
Bob

I would be up a creek without my step.

Re: Helm footrest/step
I was going to post the same identical pictures.
I did lower the helm side step on mine so I can stand on that step with the canvas up.
The cockpit floors on the mid cabin series are higher off the water line than on the Express models. This might be the reason for the lack of a step.

Re: Helm footrest/step
That's it, thanks guys. It's bigger than I recall and you're right, the mid cabin helm is higher to begin with so you don't really need a step. I was thinking more of a foot rest under the helm wheel. Perko makes a folding step that would be perfect but it's only 4" wide. I'll keep looking around, maybe I'll make something.
