Rub rail permanently then added a rubber rail instead? I am trying to see how extensive of a job this will be and who did they use to provide materials. Again thank you.

I sanded and painted the rub rail on the Trojan F-32 I used satin black Brightsides turned out great!

Scott was that the teak that you painted black? Did you seal it to keep water from seeping in?

well, it was some sort of wood, not sure exactly, I primed it and painted , looked like new the day I sold the boat

My rub rail is the plastic teak "look" type. PO had taped it as well and it was looking pretty ratty.
