LM318 crysler replacement

HI everyone I'd like to know if I can replace my engine with a newer or older LM318 that looks a little different or do I have to stay with the original 318 any help would be great :?:

Any LM318 should fit. There are several permutations (raw water cooled, fresh water cooled, etc.), but the motor mount placement and bellhousing should all be the same. Are you thinking of doing something specific?
