Either means you miss Jeff, or American politics has been a bit boring recently.... When is Obama up for re-election? I am sure things will liven up then

She was a 1969 36 ft wooden beauty with big blue 440s that we'll miss forever.
And thanks to the gang, 2012 Trojan Boater Of The Year
The site seems to get busy in spurts then slow down . Think a lot of boaters are getting there boats ready for the winter too . But I do believe Boating has slowed down in general from what I have seen and heard from other in the industry . Money is still tight and folks just are not spending money . And of course that would reflect on the forums also .
Just my thoughts anyway .
BTW , Been doing any Rock Fishing ?

I'm around. Been real busy this year. Only managed about 100 hours on the water in 2013, which is well below normal for me. The upswing of that is business has been real good and we had a record year for revenue in 2013. I'll accept that trade.
I did do a bunch of projects this season that I never had time to post about. New shafts, new couplers, sent out my props and rudders, repacked all the boxes, added a new dual trumpet horn akin to the original, new antennas for VHF and AM/FM, new fridge, new electronic distributors for both engines plus plugs, wires, caps, etc., new impeller on the Onan water pump, LED bulbs for the cabin light fixtures, a 3 stage buff and polish, new bottom paint, some other stuff I can't think of right now. I had it in the water from April until June, and hauled it mid-June to do some work since I was way too busy to use it in June & July. I had it back in mid-July and pulled it last Tuesday for the year. So far it hasn't been too cold here and I probably could have kept it in for a few more weeks, but right now there are no fuel docks open, and carrying cans to the dock gets old fast. Depending on what kind of freeze we end up having I will be back in sometime between St. Patty's Day and Tax Day. I can always spalsh the Nautique for a day or two if I get the 'itch' before then.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Could be because it is hunting season -- Shepherd's Pie filled with duck and venison for me tonight. Mostly been chores for me though, and the fact that I bought a NEW BOAT! A 16-footer that will be a father/son jet jon conversion. And then there was Thanksgiving, when people come over that you don't want on your boat......
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!
Same here CP......many 16 hr days this year and worked most every Sat. Barely had time to due maintenance on the boat, did get the head system figured out.
Perry...glad to see you getting some hunting in this year, I'm relying on last years frozen
p.s. folks.... obama is canadian!!

At least you still have some frozen. My first goose awaits in the freezer for Christmas -- yes everyone I said the "C" word. It is not illegal, even in Maryland yet, is it? And happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends while I'm at it.
Just for you Ron, I'm working right now on a thread about my water tank installation so that we can have another thread here soon to liven the place up a little. I saved it as a draft and will add the pictures later. Got to go now, the alarm goes off in 5 hours....

I still look and see what everyone else is doing. Ended up buying a 22 foot walk around to fish out of down here in the Gulf. The problem that I find around here is that Slips are so much more expensive than on the Chesapeake Bay as well as the Boat Insurance. So that has kind of priced me out of the bigger boats

I am starting to miss the Chesapeake for sure! I don't miss the weather and winterizing tho! Have you seen my old Willpower running around the Hampton area?
