Re: What Did You Get For Christmas?
I probably should have mentioned earlier and photographed the "C" Chanel that they mount into. It's in the boat shed as it's 2 8 foot pieces and I don't have room for them in the house. I got it as a gift so I don't know the website but i will post as soon as I find out. It was created for boat use. I have the instruction sheet somewhere I'll look it up and post again.
Why no comments on the stereo ?? Lol

I have the same stereo, it is a really nice unit, you will like it. As far as the lights you are probably better off wiring them for just dockside use.

Re: What Did You Get For Christmas?
A toilet and hose -- man that's my kind of stuff! Santy Claus brought me a water heater for the boat, so I'm right there with you. He also brought some goose decoys, a ghetto blaster conversion for my iPhone, and assorted AR-15 parts to go with my (5) finished-at-home-so-you-don't-need-no-stinking-NICS-check 80% lowers (I stocked-up so that if I don't move from the People's Republic of Maryland before I die, I can will them to my children). Then my wife wondered why I didn't have a muzzle loader. All I could say was "Because I haven't been to the store today honey." So the Mrs. kinda got me a 0.50 cal break-barrel muzzle loader with a nice scope that I immediately put to good use.
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!

I received a 32" flatscreen for the front bulkhead . Its will be replacing the little 19" that's in there now. And nope still no engine but at least while drinking beer in the driveway I can enjoy the game on a bigger screen out there ..

Re: What Did You Get For Christmas?
boston terrier kisses from maccabee before i left for my trip.
a 16 hour layover in an airport hotel near chicago o'hare.
a really long lingering hug and a kiss on the left cheek (face!!) from a marine HMX-1 (nighthawks) pilot on said flight to chicago o'hare. i'm still perplexed how i earned that show of affection. (thank you for no more DADT)
(i even got a squadron patch)
purser pay for all the 'first time flyers' i had to deal with on a 4 day trip working on the airbus a321.
a starbucks card from my nieces and nephews.
nothing, not a DAMN THING from 'you know who'
a package of jammie dodgers (think doctor who's matt smith) from a first officer i fly with frequently. no strings attached either.
a huge bill from johns hopkins telling me i still owe them thousands of dollars. and that's with blue cross/blue shield.
oh, and a lump of coal just to round out the season.

yes nancy. i know. HOWEVER, though i 'sound good', i'm far, far from it. there is a ton of stuff hiding behind the 'sounding good/looking good' facade these days. i'm masking a great deal. believe me.Nancy wrote:Good to see you here, Aaron! Well, we'd rather have you here masking things than not here at all. Glad you're back.aaronbocknek wrote: yes nancy. i know. Sorry to hear there are still big challenges, Aaron.
Shoot me an email if you want. I'm a good listener.
In the meantime, I'm with DH - glad you're checking back in here. You were missed!

Re: What Did You Get For Christmas?
Update: Installed Christmas stuff..... new stereo, Trim Tab LED lights, and speakers pics below. After looking into it I decided not to install those mast lights.
