We are feelin your pain up here in Lacrosse Wisconsin. . . . . 7 weeks in a row now. I'm ready to move over to Lake Michigan, if I do the river will drop immediately.

I'm sorry to report that upstream from you in Red Wing, MN its really no better. The river just crested on Sunday as is finally on its way backdown. Power was cut off to our dock the Tuesday before and its not certain to be back on any time soon. I tried to get on the river last friday in my fishing boat to go visit the Trojan but between the City, County, DNR, Army Corp, they had the accesses all blocked within miles miles of our marina. The only way to get there was to wade 100 yds through waste deep water (which is not safe or healthy in a flood).

Anyway, with a zoon lens on the camera, I can still see the boot stripe so I know she has not taken on too much water...

Had planned for a cruise starting on the 3rd from here to central IA and back, but that seems to be out of the question for this season now.

We too have a trip planned. May get pushed back or cancelled all together. Have a pontoon in our local river too that is flooded out. Problem is when this calms down wife (teacher) and kids will be back in school and my season will be over before it started! Haven't spent much on gas though!
