That's an interesting video and well informative... In my situation, the yard that the boat gets stored has no water service which is why I circulate the water/antifreeze like I do. I always get one last top-off of fuel before I haul out and I add my stabil at that time. It's well circulated by the time I get around to the lift. I use the bilge pump in the circulation rig to prime the impeller and make sure I don't suck in too much air.
I run it through the bilge pumps just for good measure and because I usually have enough left over. I also have a drain plug that will get just about most of it out. I have had them freeze solid and never had much of a problem except for one time....
There was one early spring where we were still in a deep freeze and then one day it was 45 degrees and rained to beat the band. I went to go check on it and the drain hole was blocked by a plastic sandwich bag. The bilge was still iced over and the rain water was pooling on top and started to get into the cabin. Luckily I left my anti-freeze kit in the boat and I was able to quickly pump out the water and chipped away the ice to open the drain hole.

no water, that sucks, my storage lot doesnt have water earlier hence why i do some on the trailer or in the water at the boat ramp, my F32 will be done in the water while I wait for the trailer this weekend after a 40 min run to get to the boat ramp from where she stays in the summer to where she needs to be hauled due to height/powerlines/bridges
Re: Winterizing idea/question
It's a big yard... About 1 city block. There are two yards like that and they are both about another city block from the buildings where the water is. Luckily there is an electrical outlet on every fence post...
I've been thinking of doing something like this...

But I am not sure I want to have a plastic bit under the water line...
If I did, I had thought of running a permanent intake hose through to the transom or maybe aft on the freeboard on either side. Then I will no longer have to crawl inside the cradle to take care of business.
