Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I'm glad I found you, just bought my first boat a 36' tri-cabin that will require some restoration work.
I'm sure I will have a lot of questions over the next year or so while I sort this project out.
Cars and house renovations are normally my thing, this can't be much more difficult..........;0

Welcome! Looks like a small bit of work looms ahead. You may find that many of your questions may have already been answered. When I joined the forum, I read every post from day one. Then I actually bought a boat! Good luck with the rebuild. You will find great support from other Trojan owners here.
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!
Welcome to the forum. Lots of good info on here and good people.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been creeping your forum for a while and will try to catch up on the relevant discussions, I will try not to ask what has already been asked
I will digitally document my journey to share here , but mostly so I can put it back together correctly.
Thanks for now

Yet another Canuck! Being in Aylmer, I am guessing you will be boating on Lake Erie (though I see boat was originally licensed in Bracebridge)?
Looks like you may have a bit of cleanup to do, but the hulls, stringers, and ribs on this vintage of Trojan are usually pretty solid. Sometimes stringers or deck need some work, but odds of any major structural issues are pretty slim, as long as it hasn't been abused.

Welcome to the forum!
Yes and yes Lake Erie (Port Stanley)
Bracebridge? how did you know that?
Great info, thanks a lot. The only parts I found to be really bad, was the back wooden deck and a couple interior walls that water has leaked into and swelled the wood.
