I have a new cast iron exhaust elbow and water injector for my Onan mcck. I have ordered stainless 1.25 to 1 inch reducer and a stainless 1 inch nipple. My question is does anyone have any recommendations as to what type pipe dope or sealer should be used on the threads?

well everyone can disregard, the manual just says use pipe sealer. So I am going to use my old faithful Rectorseal.
