Replacing rear windows 1970 tricabin

Post by Second Mate »

I'm in the process of replacing my old glass panel wind open windows with sliders.

I'm trying to remove the old windows and after removing the screws and trying to run a putty knife along the flashing, the windows still won't come out.

Should I just muscle it out or am I missing something?

Thanks!

Turns out it was simply a little muscle needed. Just replaced them with nice new windows from motionwindows.com and they look, fit and work great!

i would like to see a pic or two as well. any idea how someone on the ''east'' coast can get help for a broken salon window? as in previous posts, i am still trying to fix one of my salon windows but am really running into a brick wall when it comes to the ''h'' channels to properly mount it.
