I received word that 1 I sent out did not arrive. There are a few I have shipped to that I have not heard from yet. My last mailing was Monday (late afternoon), Dec. 1st. One in that mailing was going into Canada, and that may take a few extra days. If there is anyone else out there who has not received theirs yet, please let me know & I'll make good on them.

Not a problem, Michael-'tis the season to be busy! Glad to here your pennant came across the border in quick fashion!

Just a reminder to all on this thread, I may be out of contact with the forum for a few days next week as my mother-in-law is having heart surgery on Monday. We'll be with her & I also have some issues to take care of while in Indy-get her car fixed, belated birthday get together with my 2 daughters living there, etc.

Hi all: back from Indianapolis. Mother-in-law is doing very well following her surgery. The doctor was able to repair the valve vs. replace it, but still it was true heart surgery. They cut her open in the front, filled her insides with ice to cool down the body, put her on a heart-lung machine, take out the heart, do their thing on it, etc. Quite an extensive thing. Her color is good and today they are going to move her out of the critical care unit to a more normal hospital room.

I got a dozen more pennants from jimini. There are 3 of you backordered, so will get them out as soon as I can.

Hopefully this pic will come through on this post-got it from my daughter Meghan. She lives in Indy & took the pic last summer. Makes me long for next summer!!!

I think I know the answer to that question! If you look, you'll see "Pirates' on my shirt. I do believe being a pirate is a prerequisite to becoming a politician-LOL!!!!!

I sent out 3 pennants today before the post office closed. That takes care of all who wanted them. Still have 9 more left, so if anyone else wants one, now's your chance.

Let's not forget jimini, who is the real star of the show in getting such a beautiful pennant designed & made up. Hopefuly he can rejoin us on the forum in the near future. I'm grateful for all the work he put into this project!

I thought I noticed the Governor's vessel in the background of the picture. It's a dead giveaway

How about Illinois? We're going to be needing a new governor soon. No, on second thought, our governors go to jail!

Jimini and Dave would be awesome, but are they too honest for the job?
