Wagner Micropilot question -

Post by Sandale III »

I have a 1989 Trojan 10.8m 367 International and tried to use my Wagner Micropilot for the first time since purchasing the boat last summer. After turning on Micropilot I pushed the auto pilot button. It holds heading for less than 30 seconds then turns full rudder to starboard. Any suggestions?

I saw on a old post you had this hooked up to a Loran , that could be a issue as loran is no longer in service .

Prowlersfish, Thank-you for your reply. I do think it is hooked up to the Loran, but I didn't turn it on. I am going to the boat in the morning and I will unplug the Loran and try another test run. Anyone with any suggestions, please don't hesitate to lend me a helping hand. I can maintain a heading by performing manual inputs on the port and starboard inputs. It's just when I push the auto pilot button that it turns full starboard. I have a VDO dial with an adjustment dial in the center, would that have anything to do with the micropilot?
