intake manifold turn white

crusader 454 noticed my intake manifold runner has turn white new long block have ck oil cooler ck impellar new water pump new heat exchangers have not changed water inlets or risers but they didnt look bad wen i had them out any ideas

Is it the whole thing or only next to the carb? If so, that's normal and gets hotter because of the choke warm up.

the runner next to the carb will get hot as it has exhaust flow ( to heat the choke ) so it could turn the paint white .
