Hatch locking lever F-32
Anyone have a source for the OEM hatch lock levers that are all Chrome or stainless Steel. I lost two of mine and had to replace with the plastic ones from Perko. Hoping to find a boneyard some day with an old Trojan that had them but too many of these old F-32's are still in use.

Man oh man I agree with you . I d luv to know what happens to old Trojans and where they go to die. I ve never seen one being parted out or crunched up. Maybe there s a Trojan graveyard hidden somewhere like the old fabled elephant graveyard where elephants go to die.

old trojans
well, as it so happens, i went to a boat 'junk yard' in freehold new jersey on monday and there is a 1973 trojan 31 that is being parted out if you guys need anything, let me know. just ask and i will forward your questions to the guy that oversees the yard. i'm the uplink so to speak we would be willing to let you know. i do know there are bunk cushions, mahogony wood and other parts available. also, the ss bow rail is in great shape etc... the hull is also not bad and if you or anyone out there wants the hull, it can be hauled to wherever you want. i will be glad to post pics asap.

hatch latches
i have tried calling beacon marine on several occasions regarding those **&&^&&!!! ''h'' channels for my salon window for two months and not one phone call returned. the same holds true for marine tech. what gives? why won't anyone at these places 1. answer the phone, and 2. return a call or email?
am i the ONLY one out there that has had trouble with these two ''trojan experts''?
i would love to know.

http://www.hamiltonmarine.com and http://www.defender.com just browse their online catalogues and you should be able to locate metal/chrome hatch latches.

Parts
I would be interested in the chrome standard hatch hold down latches for the trojans. I would need two. I have talked with both John and Bob at Marine Tech and Beacon and the best time to catch them is early morning or late afternoon. They don't have the part just can get the plastic ones that Perko makes today.

Close but no cigar Monica
Okay Aaron, you were close with that part but the one I am looking for looks similar to this but it has a swiveling u-shaped part where the knob is on the part that you referenced. It works in similar fashion but with a quick twist of the lever and then flipping it upward it secures the hatch.
Looks just like this picture but the black part is chrome.

I was going to refinish my hatches this winter but came across some brand new polished aluminum maxwell hatches that almost fit, but I decided a little fiberglass work was easier than polishing the crazing in the plexi and stripping and refinishing the wood frames. So to make a long story short I was going to ebay the whole lot (hatches, hinges, prop brackets, latches) but if any one is interested I may part with it in private.
Just a thought. Or maybe any one would want to trade (or partial) for a teak bow pulpit?
