F27 Express Cruiser door knob

I just tripped over and bought a 1986 F27. Very cool, having fun giving her the TLC she so badly needed.
I'm searching for a doorknob for the companionway door. The door is in great shape, but the handle hardware is missing. Attached is a photo of an F27 hatch with door knob, which is missing from my boat.

Any ideas where I can source one the door handle hardware?

Also the deck area around the fore hatch was very soft. I removed the fiberglass from the inside, and removed the wet balsa core. I'll rebuild the area and reinstall the hatch, and hopefully that will do it. Anybody have any experience with a soft deck around the fore hatch?

Thanks to Nina Colada photos I've found my solution to anchor stowage! I'll be attaching a roller under the pulpit, and a windlass too.

I have been looking for this same lockset for some time and ha and have not been able to find it. I lost an internal piece and now the door does not lock. If you find a drop in or one that takes minor rework let me know and I can purchase one too.

I have the whole knob and lockset assembly on my old f28 year 77. ( it is going to the dump eventually) Not sure the same as it was different than the one on my 78 f28. The west marine catalogue has some that look like it might work. I actually had a key made for mine but am not going to use it. I will give the whole assembly to who begs the most. LOL
