Hi,
By way of introduction, I bought a 1971 F26 from a board member in NJ - Trojan Bob helped a good bit with advice and knowledge of a few of the boats of this model for sale. I picked up the boat that wolfnnj rebuilt - you can see the history in this post: http://www.trojanboats.net/wforum/viewtopic.php?t=6875
Boat name was 'Uncle Charlie' for those of you that knew it as that.
The boat is now in the Boston area - I'll be keeping it on a mooring in Westport, MA this season.
Boat is in good shape - I don't plan to do any real work on the driveline - he had installed new tanks, new motor and drivetrain, prop, etc.
I'll start out with some interior freshening up, and there are a few soft spots in the deck - up near the hawsepipe, the hardtop, and a spot in the cockpit. Luckily I haven't found any water intrusion around windows or stanchions yet. Also clean up some of the wiring.
I also decided I'll remove the household grade fridge and A/C he had on board.
I've been messing about in boats for 40 odd years now - mostly sailboats though. I did recently rebuilt a 20' center console up from / including stringers so I think the fiberglass work will be fine.
I'm sure the questions will start soon enough - for now, just an intro.
Cheers.

Howdy, Brian
I've found this forum and members extremely helpful.
I found this forum before I committed to the purchase of my project boat, I would have never bought it if this group and all the information found here wasn't available.
Have fun.
