What to do with our 350 Crusaders / 454's

Post by LisaRose »

I hope its ok to at least ask for advice on selling used parts...

We purchased our boat as a simple live-aboard for a year, maybe two.
Last weekend we removed the two 350 Crusaders/454's engines from our 1984 33' Trojan International 10m Express.
One engine, we were told was still working but would need work in the near future, the other engine needed to be rebuilt.
We are dry docked at a small marina in Florida, they are allowing us to leave the engines by our boat for the time being.
So, now i am wondering what you think our best options are in selling these engines. Craigslist, Ebay .. Are they even worth trying to sell?
I was told people would be interested in at least the blocks of each engine. Would i be better off parting these out?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick

if you ever choose to liquidate or otherwise retire the waterfront condo, I may be interested in salvaging some parts from her.

I am on the west coast of FL, north of Ft Myers.

Thank you,
