back in Belleville
After 5 years in Georgian Bay (Bay Moorings, Penetanguishene, On) "SEABISCUIT" is back in her boathouse in the Belleville harbour.

Re: back in Belleville
Change of scenery sometimes is a good plan. I take it you're a Belleville guy. One thing about it, from Belleville you can run down thru Picton to the Kingston and the Thousand Islands plus up the Rideau from there if the mood strikes you. Lots of good fun out of Belleville, right Jimbo?

Mike, Land Tug hauled it up 5 years ago so he brought her back. I will e-mail you.
Rickalan, you are right on. Thousand Is. Rideau, Gananaque, etc are great cruising grounds. Maybe see you on the water.

Re: back in Belleville
Jimbo - The Thousand Islands are awesome. Have been down a few times (including last year) and just love the area. We have stayed at Meyer's Pier a couple of times and (darn- I forget what was called before Crates bought it -- why am I thinking Morch?) many years ago on my Liberator. Glad you were able to get SeaBiscuit back to her old boathouse.
Re: back in Belleville
Hey Captain, it was called Morch Marine a while back and now Crates. There were owners between them. I was the Harbour Supervisor at Meyers in 2009 and 2010. We may have met. Let me know if you are coming our way. Have a great boating season!

Are you running an operation out there now?

Re: back in Belleville
Not at this time Big D. I repowered Seabiscuit last fall with a pair of low hour 440's so I am finishing up some wood work on the aft bulkhead. I am also restoring a 1965 Chris Craft Sea Skiff. I have it in a rented shop here and I would like to finish it over the next 2 months. It is an 80% restoration and I am about 4 years in.

Good luck with your project. Pics please!
