tri cabin porthole seals

Post by mark30h »

Bob at beacon is researching these but I thought id ask here also. Im looking for replacement rubber gaskets for the porthole windows in the aft cabin on a 1979 36 fri cabin. These have the 6 rectangular aluminum porthole type windows. Has anyone sourced replacements? Thanks.

the aft cabin portlight were standard until the 1980 model year when the design was modified to have sliding plexiglass windows. if you can find the manufacturer of the portlights, you might have some luck. did bob give you any ideas as to who made them and if there even is a replacement gasket? i'm assuming that the gasket is between the glass and the frame?

Hi, did you ever find a gasket that works for these? I have tried a few different with little success. Thanks.
