Air condition raw water outlet
Hi I have a1986 Trojan f 32 the previous owner took the a/c unit out capped off the wires 10 years ago this is back under the deck the copper lines are there there are ts , I need to make the two lines to go to compresser no problem there , I can't find the raw water discharge through hull every one of the holes are in use sink shower bath sink not sure if previous owner used the hole for something else ? He took the ac out cause he lived in mass. And was on a mouring and put another water tank where the ac was I took the tank out and want ac I'm on a dock and don't need 80gallons of water any help would appreciated thanks

Could have used it for something else . If all thru hulls are being used I would just install a new one .

I agree with Paul.prowlersfish wrote:Could have used it for something else . If all thru hulls are being used I would just install a new one .
You may also want to consider installing a shower sump for collecting the condensate so it gets pumped overboard automatically rather than ending up in your bilge, otherwise it'll contribute to standing water that will eventually give off a bad odour. If you have a hollow keel that isn't properly sealed, this will make matters worse (search forum for hollow keel odour threads).
Curious, why don't you get rid of all the old AC hardware and install a newer all-in-one compact unit?

Thanks guys. I believe either the hole is used by something else also or the previous owner is thinking it was teed into the the drain from the deck drains have to get back down the boat to see where they come out on the transom always seen them on the side of every boat so not sure that's correct may have to install one like you said , the reason I'm not going with a new system is cause the old system was taken out 11 years ago in working condition cause he wanted more room for an extra water tank and didn't want ac and he gave me everything to reinstall it I'm hoping it works if not I'll be buying a self contained unit and putting it under the seat but I hope not don't want to loose the two draws and reroute everything .
