253 express
All right with everybody's help I found my whole plate and I now know that my boat is a 1975 Trojan 253. Single 318 single screw. There is no key for this boat I was putting in a new key cylinder that I got from the marina and I'm having some issues with wiring. The stocks which had battery ignition and ground I believe they read a black and some coloured powers. The new switch has an a and I in a be can anybody shed some light on where this wiring will go When I turn the key over I get all my lights on my Nava lights and the motor will turn over however I get a buzzing noise from behind the – a warning or a bell of some sort

That's the Engine alarm , it should shut of when it gets good oil pressure .
FWIW the model # 253 is know as a F25 and more folks will recognize it that way .
