New to us Trojan 370 Express Cruiser
I started with sailing in Santa Cruz while at college and graduated to crewing on racing boats. Eventually, I bought our first sailboat (Cal 34) "subject to spousal approval" (which wife never quite forgave me for). Went through several "upgrades" - Cal 39 & then Beneteau First 40. Now, with spouse's hands not able to handle the sheets, we've come to our next generation - a beautiful Trojan 370 EC - great bones but a cosmetic fixer.
She arrives up in Vallejo on Monday from Marina del Rey salt water. After putting her back together, she'll be residing up in the Delta in fresh water for the first time.
Can't wait for getting back to Dawdling on the Delta.

A few more photos.
Mechanical survey with compressions running from 120 to 125 - very good.
Original Crusader 454's with 900 hours. I own a quick lube chain and I and my managers can rebuild anything, especially older carb'd GMC V8's.
This is going to be fun!

Re: New to us Trojan 370 Express Cruiser
the 11 meter is reportedly the "slipperiest" Trojan hull design of all.

I agree with "slippery" and well designed. I looked at quite a number of different makes, models, years, sizes . . . And, I kept coming back to the 11 meter. We're not interested in a lot of guests, especially over night & really liked the simple addition of convertible bunks for our grandchildren and not having the intrusion of "guest" quarters reducing the engine room space or moving the engines further back in the boat as is the case with so many of the newer designs. They designed a great boat and I see little improvement over the years - just cosmetics.

Congrats as well, it is basically a twin to ours, minus the upholstery colors. We get asked all the time, " how wide it that boat"? I also love the layout. We recently took a 10 day cruise up to Mackinaw Island (michigan), with 8 on board, and had plenty of room. Even had the opportunity to enjoy some 10 foot waves for a few hours with port prop taking a few breaths of air rolling over a few. 10 footers on the great lakes are not fun in any boat, however you will love the ride in anything 6 foot or less. I have no doubt you will enjoy this boat as much as we do.

Yes Jimmy, although we'll be in the Delta most of the time, we'll also be running into S.F. Bay from time to time. It can get really windy and on an eb tide, very choppy! I'm sure we'll remain comfortable.
