My 1977 F30 Express has an Emergency Battery Combiner located right near the 2 starting batteries. I was wondering how this works, if it need maintenance, and any thoughts on its effectiveness, etc...
Thanks!

Re: 1977 F30 Express Emergency Battery Combiner
It's basically a relay that if wired properly will combine 2 battery's in case of a dead battery to start your engine it will combine another to help start your engine. If you remove it you will have to bring a jumper cable or physically move or rewire another battery to start your dead engine. Me I would leave it . You can also google this andread more about the exact one you have
