Repower f32

Post by Rickplumber »

I am new to this forum but have read many post in this forum and find it very helpful.I have been breathing new life into a well maintained 1987 f32, wanted to repower and checked every form of info I could find. I wanted to let other Trojan owners to know that the PMC ZR6 has been the best choice that could be made at 390hp each the boat under full load of 3 fuel tanks 4 people 2 over 200 lbs full water and full of gear and food will maintain a speed of 37 mph. If you need to repower this is the way to go in my opinion. Thank you for all of the information this form gave me.

The engines are 6.0 so the clearance is not a problem, I will ask the mechanic about prop size and the new engines came with high torque transmissions. I am new to the posting part of this forum so I will post pictures as soon as I learn how Thank You

Also the boat handles very well in small chops and smooth water, I had to back off to 3500 rpm , and trim the stern down in 4 to 5 foot chops to keep the wife happy and not dump the food off the counter.
