Hey LookOut;
You hit the nail on the head, regarding the Marriage thing, made me Laugh

.
And you proper in saying that in regard to having a boat, it's unreal how a boat can be an investment with the lost factor in mind when you get one, meaning;
You never get back what you put into it back, from what i seen with friends boats and yet we still invest in it anyway, now if we had that love and understanding in a marriage without the Whining, i still would be married !
Were still friends, funny how that happens too

!

Hey TADTOOMUCH ;
Thank's good looking out there, i'm just getting a handle on this, it's unreal that from what i seen , maybe i'm not looking in the right places, per internet, that no one specializes in custom stoves or sinks and beds for boats, am i right on this, here i'm sending money to the RV area.
Want to start a business ?
Funny thing there, did you ever think of that, that we spend hours finding one thing piece by piece.
There has to be a specialty shop some where, there is for Bimini Tops for Boats !
Why not Kitchen area and Bed area !

Hey Beanie......the fiberglass is a good thing. I'm not the Trojan expert like many on this forum but it was my understanding the 1972 was a transition year for Trojan from wood to glass. I have a 1972 30 foot Sea Raider and until now thought that was the largest glass hull Trojan made that year........guess not.......anyway that 42 footer is a beautiful boat.....the one I mentioned in my marina was just sold and he siad it was a 1972...but it was a woodie......any chance yours could be younger than 1972????..........John

Hey John:
I heard the same thing,,,, no mine is a 72' i heard that is was a transition year as-well, hey, don't know if you seen the other Topic i put up on said site in Forum, regarding the Stove,,,, I found a pretty neat one and smooth glass top for easy cleaning and micro-wave added to boot, to save space, check it out.
And Ya; i know your right about the smell, it's an old boat, that is the Contractor in me, trying to make it perfect, i'm so use to dealing with other people, that i pick up where they left off, so to speak

.
This is the reason i got the boat to RELAX !

Beanie.....saw the stove, very nice. I don't have a stove aboard, just a microwave and a couple butane burners if needed. I only anchor out in good weather and then we BBQ, works good for us........good luck with the boat.......and if I may suggest, prioritize that list....other wise you'll be running in every direction.........lol.............John
