So now that I know the model Trojan I have, are there any other 30' Sea Raiders out there?

Will it would be a Ocean or Viking (or maybe a post )If I stayed with the Conv. style or a northeast style boat with a single diesel . I was on a 42 defever today (trawler) That boat was nice ,maybe when I retire.

i like the my f30 just wish they were a bit wider. like from 11 to 12 foot, i know it's only a foot but it makes a difference. i like the lines on the 32 alot more then the 30 so i think the 30 has got to go! if i had the extra cash i would sell both and go BIG, like viking 74 enclosed bridge! HA! then i woke up!!

I was surprised and disappointed there were no 30 footers or smaller at the rendezvous . the F32s were the smallest there ( unless you count the cris craft ) I think would have Still come if I still had the 30 .

I did see a few in my travels incuding a few Sea Raiders ( 2 in the solomons )

i would have loved to been there but it's a long haul from lake michigan. there is a guy who has 12 boats in his charter fleet where i fish and 6 of them are trojans. 32's and 36's, i love watching them roll out of the harbor. it's quite a sight.

I have a clean machine and an F32. The Clean Machine is also sometimes refered to as a sport fisherman due to the large aft deck. It is very economical to run and pretty fast. Great boat

nice boat......however, I question the speeds. Cruise @27mph and top of 38 seems pretty optimistic to me.....my 30 Sea Raider with 330hp merc's can't do that....

top speed should be around 27 +- The only one I have seen run at the listed speeds had big blocks in it (454)

The clean machine is much lighter than the F30. The speed was GPS on an unusally smooth Lake Erie. The boat weights about half that of my F32 with only 50 HP difference. I know what you mean, I have been boating for over 50 years and when I opened it up about six years ago it really surprised me. I also turned over 5,000 rpm.

Dan the clean machine and the regular F30 should be close in weight
both are listed as 8000 pounds. the F32 is at 12000 pounds . My f30 clean machine was on of my favorite boats , I was going to repower mine with diesels when My F36 came up . Mine had a 20 knot cruse with twin 351 fords 250 HP

I guess My Sea Raider is about 10,000 lbs loaded. With 660hp at 5000rpm I can get about 34 knots on the GPS.....scary fast, don't try to turn.........I cruise at 18 knots (GPS) at 3100rpm. All with a clean bottom and running gear.......don't even want to know what my fuel burn is at 5000 rpm.........love this boat!!!

My 79 clean machine runs 3300 RPM at 3/4 throttle with GPS speed of 24 knots. Have not really opened her up all the way. At 2800 RPM she runs at 15 knots.
