You're a lot closer to me than him. I boat in the upper bay, but make it down to Fairlee creek and Middle River sometimes.

Hopefully we will meet up next year. I used to live in Bowley's Quarters when I was a kid. You'll have to fill me in on Bowley's.

OK, where do I start? This will be a slip dweller. It needs to float. I will make sure both engines run good, in case we do take her on a short trip.

I am going to remove everything from inside. We will clean and inspect everything. Gauges on the FB don't work, I'd like to go over everything and just see how it works. I understand there are more drain plugs toward the front? I have it blocked so there is fall to the stern for drainage.

This is our first slip boat. First twin engine boat too. I just want to make the most of it while I have it on the hard.

First you address the items that you can NOT do while its in the water. Like removing and rebedding all thru hulls, Check the condition of your spray rails. Mine had started rotting so I made a new set and installed. Re-pack stuffing boxes while its out of water. You will have to readjust them once its back in the water, no big deal. Check condition of your water and holding tanks. The list can go on for quite a while, I wish I had mine sitting in front of my house last winter! Its 30miles one way to my boat! Well this ought to keep you busy for at least 2 hours!

Thanks! I know the PO repacked/adjusted the stuffing box earlier this year. My spray rails are mostly solid.

Check them real good cause mine looked good and on close inspection they were rotted so I replaced them. A real 'FUN' job on a F36!

As I am putting the Phoenix back together am using Dripless Shaft Seals, with v drives it is just too darn hard to tighten or repack without pulling power packs. Hopefully they will be fine for many years to come.
