You'd think that it only had to be below the inline to the shutoff valve and the valve itself.

Seem many just above , but play it safe and mount it just be low that level .

That Sierra kit has dual inlets and outlets. Can one handle both engines? That would sure make life easier and less expensive. One filter, marine rubber hoses in from the shutoff valves and marine rubber hoses out to the fuel pumps.........?

NO . one filter for each engine

Not sure its a USCG requirement, but it just makes sense to keep the fuel filter below the carb, so it doesn't drain down into the engine when sitting.

I would agree but look at the fuel lines many are above the carb comeing from the tank , Thats why I question it .

This is the filter system I changed mine over to. Easy to maintain on the changing of filters and the wallet! :lol:

Barry, want a picture of how mine are mounted on engine room bulkhead and I think they will be lower than carby. The way it came.
