Aaron, I'm sure all that paraphernalia was overwhelming, and I agree with you that the pill situation will be easier to cope with. Your attitude is so positive and upbeat. I just say l'chaim....a good mantra for sure.

mazel tov larry!! i'm hopeful for equal success too! heading out for treatment #4, thus ends my first week under the 'radar range'. oh, after your daily treatments, did you come out feeling like you had been at the beach for a day? i experience that 'just out of the sun' feeling for about 5 hours. and don't even get me started on the physical effects where the beams are aiming.

Actually no burns used proton radiation at loma linda med center. Did have a tan spot on each hip all gone now. Some others had external beam or xrays and they would get like sunburn.

I had 44 doses, once each day. It was for prostate cancer. Its just another bump on lifes path.

God bless and take care of you.

Mazel tov b ack at you

i'm doing the external beam x-rays or photonic beams. i asked about proton beam, but, my radiation oncologist said that that was not the right form of energy for squamous cell carcinomas. and i'm already sensing that things are starting to 'melt'. which is a good thing.
gotta run and get zapped. i'll catch you all later when i get back this evening.

Your going to beat this, I can feel it. Your positive attitude, and your support from people here you don't even know, or haven't even met is all positive.

Not a problem :D ...NO PROBLEM... :D seems my new purchase is almost a premonition and indication for you.

Good luck, and chin up.

On a side note for everyone else:

paul checked up on me as i was driving home from being zapped, and he's right.... 1st week down. next week we up the chemo pills ( ) to a slightly higher dose. oh how i am not liking the chemical war going on inside. i'm getting 'man o pause' because it's really screwing with my hormone levels. hot flashes? YOU BET!! and i'm told it is only until the chemo is cruising through my system. let's hope. but, one goal is down.... 1st week. marching forward to that end point of kicking cancers ass!! and guys, no need to accommodate the sight thing. i can read standard type, it just takes a little time.
thanks for keeping me going guys and gals. i'm humbled and honored!!!
