I agree 50/50 with you on the interior finishes compared to the Trojan, our F-32 lacked any sort of joinery, but it had a lot of wood on the interior , which I prefer to any sort of upholstery or wall coverings. However, as with any boat I can afford, there will always be a trade off.

No need to appologize for the typo, I'm just particular with the Silverton changes over the years. I'm sure the Trojan guys are the same way.

The interior on yours looks really nice! Btw I've done a bit of work to mine, and that green hull color should come back and look really sharp.

After visiting the boat show a couple weekends ago, I can say that new boats don't hold a candle to old ones when it comes to cabin wood work. It's now all shiny wood looking plastic. Not a lot of real wood until you start dropping big money.

I haven't been chased off this site yet being a Silverton owner, and assume with all your previous Trojan history, you will be more than always welcomed!

My buddy had an '84 34C, looked basically the same. He ran the crap out of that boat. He had it forever too, I'd say at least 15 seasons. He definately got his moneys worth from it.

I'm sure you'll be happy with the 37C. I was checking out F36 comps during my search and that was one of them.

Well, inasmuch as anything else CAN "comp" to a Trojan yacht.

Congrats Scott. Hope things work out in your favour. After all, what really matters here is what makes you happy when you're out on the water. As far as sticking around here, I expect you to fulfil your duties as recently endorsed by your constituents All kidding aside, remove the OEM emblems, and what you're left with are vessels that share the same systems. Sure each vessel make has its quirks, but an answer on how to repair a toilet or engine will typically apply to all, and I for one welcome your future enquiries, input, and hope/look forward to being a part of your next project. So stick around, please.

Don't fret about the bs from some of the posts. The Silverton is a good boat.

If you become despondent maybe you will simply scrape off SILVERTON and buy one of those COOL TROJAN STICKERS........

I'm sure like with any new boat, there will be a bunch of bugs that will need working out, then once you get it the way you want it, you'll have a lot of the fun that a new boat brings. Congrats.
