It's not hijacking when you're invited! Thanks for sharing the pics. I love the new paint. The grey looks very nice and so does the new platform. Well done!

The shrink wrap is off!

Here's the spring list:

1. Change solid canvas panels to clear. Add screens. DONE
2. Install A/C - not equipped from the factory. Purchased Webasto 10k BTU.
3. Replace stinky old vacuflush hoses.
4. Misc lighting and electrical upgrades.
5. Bottom paint.

Hope you are not undersized

I knew it would be you, RWS that called out the size discrepancy.

I am undersized.

My location (upstate NY), my space constraint and power consumption made me go with the Webasto FCF Platinum in 10k BTU.

It will be more than enough to take the edge off in midst of a summer heatwave.

Thank you for the compliment

I'm here in FLorida and the 16 is a requirement

You can likely close off the mid cabin area when not in use to reduce the cubic foot area you are cooling

One of the nice features of the early express models is the HVAC ducts being molded into the ceiling, allowing for overhead vents all the way forward into the fwd cabin.

You'll be fine up there

Have you done the math on the size the the cabin for your model?

never did the math, however in the summer daytime down here in FL in direct sun, with the sliding door opening and closing multiple times during the day, the 16 keeps up with it - but barely

I have added some insulation in areas I have access to, some spray foam and some sheet.

Just finished two of three sanitation hoses. What a crappy job. Those hoses are so tight. Today it’s only about 40 degrees so the heat gun was my best friend. 1 more to go.

Air conditioning install has been complete! Still not warm enough to really test it. This morning I used the reverse cycle heat function at the request of the wife. It worked great!

The hardest part of the install on this boat was the removal of the panels in the v-berth cabinet. In order to do it, I had to pull back the headliner a bit.

Oh and also poor estimation of 12/3 stranded boat power cable length! 35 feet is what I ended up needing. Poor planning and multiple trips to the store...

Well the newest member of the crew, Finnegan, went on his first overnight trip on the Trojan. It went off without a hitch!

He doesn't love the life vest, but he will get used to it...

we cruised to Sylvan Beach, NY and enjoyed a few days tied to the wall. We had a great picnic with our fellow boat club friends...

And finally, for those looking for a new swim platform, i know i posted about this before, but Butler Marine down in PA did an amazing job making this for me. I can't say enough about them. 100% SOLID GLASS...no coring here! Beats the hell out of the factory one.
