factory marking ?

factory marking ?

Found this behind starboard vinyl side panel at helm.
The glass and wood behind there looked brand new like it had not seen the light of day in 40 years.

See markings like that on mine , I assume its to id the hull and other parts . Nothing on mine looks that new .
