What tools will I need to remove the swim platform? Boat is in the water at the moment so I will have to go under to remove it, anyone who has done this before any info would be appreciated.

Are you removing it complete, with brackets? Kinda hard with it in the water as the through bolts need to come out and of course water will come in. Or, if just removing the platform, there should just be bolts and nuts which should come out with a socket, wrench and patience...
Why are you removing it? If you're selling it please let me know. Good luck.

I just did my swim platform. Sanded, refinished. Did it on the boat. I happened to have weaver davits, so I popped my zodiac to the davits, and presto, beautifull work surface. [Didn't really sand it, used 3M Scotch bright pad, and Cetol, on the surface teak, removed the stainless steel rubrail, touched up soft areas with penetrating epoxy. I had removed the teak supports when the boat was on blocks in the winter and coated them with epoxy.] . Depending on your installation, you may be able to remove the swim platform without removing any through- bolted hardware. on the other hand, wait until you need to haul the boat.
