1081 F32 steering
Lost steering on bridge due to a leak in teleflex helm leaking fluid. Can these be repaired?

1081? I asume you mean 1981
. Are you sure it's a Teleflex helm? They came with Syten helm pump the later ones used Hynautic. The syten can not be rebuilt/resealed. It would need to be replaced with a sea star helm pump ( takes some work to do). If you have the Hynautic it can be resealed, its a little tricky as there is a lot of parts. Do you have a photo of the helm? Yours may have been replaced.
Man times the the Syten, teleflex and sea star pumps crack. Not an issue with Hynatic.

Yes meant 1981 F32. My steering is Syten system with a leaking top side helm. Bottom station works

You will have to replace the leaking helm with a seastar. Bob at Beacon marine can tell you what you need,
