introduction

Post by bostonjake01 »

Hi everyone my name is Rich and I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I am in the process of getting a Trojan boat, and it will be a long project but there was something about the boat that just called me ( and the price was right also $0.00 ) so what ever I put in will be what the boat will cost. I know I will be asking alot of questions as I work on her and will post the progress on here as well. if anyone can tell me were to load up pictures to post some before pictures?
Thanks to everyone ahead of time..
Rich :D

Boat Cost

Post by TADTOOMUCH »

Rich,

As the value of the dollar falls and you invest in your boat your actual cost will be less if the dollar ever comes back. Just like buying stock. Probably the same amount of risk so enjoy and welcome to the forum.
Boat Name: A TAD TOO MUCH
Model: 1978 F-32 Sedan Cruiser
Engines: Twin Chry 360's 666 hrs original engines

Welcome Rich. You'll not regret getting a Trojan. Bullet proof hulls and great drivetrains. Take your time on the repairs and don't rush. You're investing in a long-term project well worth the effort and $$

Welcome aboard, Rich. As you can see by the replies, there is a strong group of us owners who love their Trojans, and I'm sure you will love your's also. The old saying that they don't make them like they used to is certainly true here. After buying my '75 tri-cabin, the wife was grousing about this and than and having 2nd thoughts. We went to the Cleveland Boat Show in late January to look at the offerings to pick up some decorating ideas. After seeing what's out there now and the $$$$$'s, she walked out remarkng that she liked our boat better than anything she saw up there!

welcome a board a board; good luck with your never ending list of projects. Half the fun of owning an older boat is turning it into your own little customized piece of floating home. This is a really helpful forum for advice from those that have been there/done that...ah...doing that...
